Al-Zaitoona Arabic School was co-founded by Mrs.Ramia Sibaey and Mrs. Noorjehan Ravalia in January 2000.
Mrs Ramia Sibaey, the Head teacher and Mrs Nora Sibaey-Soliman, Deputy head currently manage the school.
Al-Zaitoona Arabic School is a non-profitable organisation and all the money received from parents via fees and donations go towards fees for school hire, staff salaries, insurance, resources and equipment for our students.
At Al-Zaitoona Arabic School we try to adapt similar teaching methods and approaches as the mainstream English schools, the reason for this is to make the transition from English school to Arabic school a smooth and comfortable one for the children.
All our teaching staff are qualified and/or have had relevant training/experience to work with children and in education. All members of staff are DBS checked or in the process of obtaining one.
Classes at our school are divided into smaller than average classes, in order for the children to get as much attention and care from the teacher/teacher's assistant. We have an extensive library of Arabic books, and we are happy for families to borrow some or even purchase to further help your child's learning at home.
